ATS & Emergency Systems

A facilities emergency electrical system requires regular maintenance and testing as per the NFPA 110 Standard

By analyzing the following, we can assess whether your facility will need attention:

​

• If you have an ATS switch, you need to service and test it annually.

• If your ATS is ten years or older it may be obsolete and unsupported by the manufacturer. This means you may need to upgrade the device.

• If you have an emergency lighting inverter system, it needs to be tested and serviced annually.

• If your generator has a breaker, it needs to be tested every two years.

• If you have any other emergency main breakers, they also must be tested every two years.
